The Future Leaders Program is an exciting new program that was run in 2021 for young leaders, aged between 20 and 30, in the Esperance and Ravensthorpe region. The program was been designed to invest in the next generation of leaders by providing them with opportunities to learn and develop leadership skills to benefit our local region. 

The Future Leaders Program was delivered by Regional Development Australia Goldfields Esperance in partnership with the Esperance Chamber of Commerce and Industry and South Regional TAFE. These program partners worked together to support participants, through training and workshops, to 

• Develop and strengthen an understanding of teams, workplace relationships and individual motivations
• Develop and strengthen an understanding of local and regional businesses and their role in driving a local economy
• Recognise the importance of strong networks and relationships internally and externally in business and the community
• Focus on building individual leadership and strategic skills

The program concluded in November 2021 and led to the creation of the Esperance Young Professionals Committee and many individual successes from the participants. We would like to thank our Program Partners and everyone who participated in the program, especially our mentors who volunteered their personal time to mentor our next generation of Leaders.
