Would you like to give something back to your community?

Are you interested in joining a committee focused on economic development in your region?

Regional Development Australia (RDA) is a national network of committees made up of local leaders who work with all levels of government, business and community groups to support the economic development of their regions.

RDA Committees have an active and collaborative role in their regions and a clear focus on growing strong and confident regional economies that harness their competitive advantages, seize on economic opportunity and attract investment.

Regional Development Australia Goldfields Esperance (RDAGE) is seeking community minded individuals with vision, drive, strong networks, business experience or project development experience to join their committee.

As the regional development voice of their communities, RDA committees:

  • Consult and engage with communities;
  • Promote and participate in regional programs and initiatives;
  • Provide information and advice on their region to all levels of government; and
  • Support informed regional planning.

Interested community members who have a vision for the Goldfields Esperance region are encouraged to apply to represent the community and to be an advocate for the region as a RDAGE Committee Member.

Applications are now open for highly motivated and committed people with skills or experience in industry, aquaculture, agriculture, tourism or Aboriginal economic development. Community leaders from the Northern Goldfields or Ravensthorpe are also encouraged to apply.

Interested persons should refer to the Applicant Information Pack.

For further information, contact Mrs Lee Jacobsen 0438 911 600 (Chair@rdage.com.au) or Ms Jo Swan 0417 959 458 (Director@rdage.com.au).
